eVISA FAQ

1. I uploaded all the documents, but I received an email saying that my application was returned. What should I do?

Review the detailed instructions above. There is a possibility that your documents will be returned if you upload the document, but it was not prepared appropriately, or if the visa category is inaccurate. Make sure to read all of the instructions.

If there is a format or form provided, you must use it. In addition, we will not accept any substitute for the documents listed (ex. you cannot submit a proof of employment instead of your bank statement).

The Consulate cannot provide any individual guidance about missing documents. If you have trouble applying online, please come apply in person, without appointment.

2. I registered my credit card information, but I was only charged 2 cents. Is this an error?

Once you register your payment information, please wait for the Consulate to manually approve the transaction. Once we approve it, you will be charged the total visa application fee amount.

Please note that it may take several business days for the payment to be approved, due to the high volume of applications.
