On July 31, Consul General Uchikawa presented the Consul General of Japan Award to the Ice Academy of Montreal (I.AM).
Founded in 2014, I.AM is an institution specializing in the training of world-class ice dance athletes and coaches. Over the years, many elite Japanese ice dancers have trained at the academy and achieved outstanding results. Through its dedication, I.AM has contributed to raising the profile of ice dance and showcasing the achievements of Japanese athletes in Canada and around the world.
