The Japanese Film Festival – Montreal – (May 22 and 23, 2026)

On May 22 and 23, the 42st edition of the Japanese Film Festival was held at the Cinémathèque québécoise, co-organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal and the Japan Foundation, Toronto. All three films screenings were very well received. We are pleased that the audience was able to gain a deeper understanding of Japan through a diverse selection of films. Thank you to everyone who attended!
