Event Promoting Japanese Food Products at the ITHQ (Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec) (March 12, 2026)
On March 12, an event aimed at promoting Japanese food products was held at the ITHQ (Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec, which also offers culinary training), bringing together local restaurateurs, chefs, culinary instructors, food journalists, and social media content creators. On this occasion, local figures involved in the distribution and promotion of Japanese cuisine and sake presented agriculture, sea, and other food products from Japan that are still little known in the region, with the aim of fostering new opportunities for market expansion.
The event was also attended by the President of the ITHQ, Liza Frulla (former federal and provincial minister), along with its executive members. This gathering provided participants with an opportunity to exchange views and foster the further promotion of Japanese cuisine and sake in the region.
