Japanese Language Speech Contests (Quebec and Atlantic Canada) (March 7, 2026)

On March 7 were held the 36th Japanese Language Speech Contest of Quebec and the 28th Atlantic Canada Japanese Language Speech Contest, during which Consul General Akihiko Uchikawa and Deputy Consul General Yoshiki Takaku respectively delivered an opening speech. On these occasions, the participants used various Japanese expressions to share their experiences and reflections in a rich and personal manner. We hope that the study of the Japanese language will continue to promote exchanges and understanding between Japan and Canadian provinces.
