End of the Term of the Honorary Consul General of Japan in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador

On February 14, 2026, the term of Mr. Victor L. Young as Honorary Consul General of Japan in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador came to an end.

Since 2001, Mr. Young served as Honorary Consul General of Japan in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, contributing to the promotion of exchanges between Japan and Canada and actively working to raise awareness of Japan within the province. In recognition of his distinguished service, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun by the Government of Japan in 2016.
