Quebec National Day celebration hosted by Premier Legault and his spouse (June 18, 2025)

On June 18, during a visit to Québec City, Consul General Uchikawa attended the Quebec National Day celebration (la Fête nationale du Québec) hosted by Premier François Legault and his spouse. The event brought together a large number of attendees, including provincial government ministers, senior officials, public corporations’ representatives, as well as consuls general and honorary consuls from various countries.
Following the Premier’s speech, guests engaged in cordial conversations in a warm and friendly atmosphere, enjoying traditional Quebec music performed by a live ensemble. In this relaxed setting, the Consul General had the opportunity to speak with Premier Legault and his spouse, with Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie Martine Biron, prior to her scheduled visit to Japan, and with Minister of Education Bernard Drainville.
