Exchange of New Year’s Greetings Reception hosted by the Government of Quebec (January 28, 2025)

On January 28, Consul General Uchikawa attended the Exchange of New Year’s Greetings reception with the members of the Consular Corps, hosted by Mr. François Legault, Premier of Quebec, and his spouse, as well as Ms. Martine Biron, Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie. On this occasion, Mr. Uchikawa exchanged views with Premier Legault, Ms. Nathalie Roy, President of the National Assembly of Quebec, and other representatives of the Quebec government on the further strengthening of Japan-Quebec relations. He also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Mario Girard, who was recently appointed as Delegate General of Quebec in Tokyo.
