The International Tourism & Travel Show took place in Montreal from November 1 to 3. The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Toronto office (Visit Japan from Canada) held the Japan booth, where the Consulate General presented hands-on Japanese cultural activities such as origami and calligraphy, which garnered considerable interest. Each day, the booth welcomed a steady stream of visitors seeking information about tourism in Japan. Consul General Uchikawa, who attended the event, observed that Japan is a highly popular travel destination.
