Visit to Kyoto Prefecture (April 11, 2024)

On April 11, Consul General Uchikawa, who was temporarily back in Japan, visited Kyoto Prefecture and met with its Governor, Mr. Takatoshi Nishiwaki, and the President of the Prefectural Assembly, Mr. Munehisa Ishida. The Prefecture and the Government of Quebec established a Friendship and Collaboration Agreement in 2016. Discussions encompassed exchanges between Kyoto and Quebec, the current state of their bilateral relations and efforts to strengthen their bond.
