The Japanese Film Festival – Quebec City – (December 1st, 2023)

On December 1st, the Consulate General of Japan held the Japanese Film Festival in Quebec City, co-organized by the Japan Foundation Toronto and in collaboration with the Association d'amitié Québec-Japon. Marking its return to Quebec City for the first time since 2019, the event garnered significant acclaim, drawing a substantial audience. Requests for the festival's continuation in Quebec City ensued, to encourage new opportunities for showcasing Japanese films in the region. The Consulate remains committed to promote the diffusion of Japanese culture by actively collaborating with Japan-related organizations in Quebec City.
