Meeting with Ms. Fujita and Mr. Iamonico, a.k.a. Ms. and Mr. Saké (July 20, 2022)
On Wednesday, July 20, Consul General Jun SAITO welcomed to his official residence Ms. Kuniko Fujita, also known as “Madame Saké”, and Mr. Claude Iamonico, alias “Monsieur Saké”. As many already know, the two fervently dedicate themselves to present the charms and flavors of saké to local consumers. Incidentally, it is especially gratifying to notice that saké is becoming more and more popular among the people of La Belle Province. On occasions when the Consul General invites Quebecers to his official residence, a saké that pairs the dishes is served, and many efforts are made to increase the number of Japanese rice alcohol enthusiasts. Collaborations with Madame and Monsieur Saké are also in the works to promote all the qualities of saké and introduce it to neophytes!
