On Tuesday, July 19, Consul General Jun SAITO visited the company YKK Canada Inc. in Montreal, whose fastening products go well beyond clothing and answer the needs of a wide array of industries. On site, he met President Hugues Charbonneau and Finance & Administration Director Frederic Lanzer, who explained the broad strokes of the company as they accompanied him on a tour of its manufacturing facilities. YKK Canada Inc. is said to be the oldest Japanese company to set up a factory in Montreal, which opened in 1968.
