On Tuesday, July 12, Consul General SAITO met with Minister of Economy and Innovation Pierre Fitzgibbon and Minister for Education and in charge of Sports Isabelle Charest to exchange on various topics related to the further strengthening of Japan-Quebec relations. At the beginning, they both expressed their deepest condolences on the passing of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and their solidarity with Japan and its people.
