Yayoi Kusama exhibition (July 5, 2022)

On Tuesday, July 5, Consul General Jun SAITO visited during its pre-opening the exhibition “Yayoi Kusama: DANCING LIGHTS THAT FLEW UP TO THE UNIVERSE” held at the PHI Foundation for Contemporary Art in celebration of its 15th anniversary. With prior reservation, visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to discover for free until January 15th some of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s representative artwork, such as paintings from her My Eternal Soul series, some of her bronze pumpkin sculptures, and two of her Infinity Mirrored Rooms. The Consul General thoroughly enjoyed the world-famous artist’s many creative pieces complemented by instructive comments and explanations by a PHI Foundation representative.
