Meeting with Mr. Nicolas Dufour, Repentigny Mayor (May 27, 2022)

On Friday, May 27, Consul General Jun SAITO paid a courtesy visit to Repentigny Mayor Nicolas Dufour. The city of Repentigny hosts every year the Junior Open Championships, an international tennis tournament which has welcomed renowned Japanese players in the past. The Mayor expressed his interest in cooperative efforts with Japanese enterprises and exchanges with Japanese regional towns and cities, and the discussion broadened into the topic of the strengthening of Japan-Quebec relations.
