On Thursday, April 28, Consul General SAITO met with Ms. Liette Lamonde, Managing Director of Startup Montréal, to discuss the current situation and prospects of startups in Montreal. Inherently diverse with several universities, the metropolis is home to many startups, and it is part of Startup Montréal's mission to compile their activities into databases and act as facilitator in their expansion and building of ties with large enterprises. For its part, the Consulate General of Japan aims to further support innovative cooperation endeavours between Japan and Quebec.
