Meeting with Mr. Bruno Marchand, Mayor of Quebec City (April 13, 2022)

On Wednesday, April 13, Consul General Jun SAITO welcomed the Mayor of Quebec City, Mr. Bruno Marchand, who was visiting Montreal. The Consul General outlined the political, economic and cultural relations between Japan and Quebec, and encouraged Mayor Marchand to attend the Japanese cultural activities which will be taking place in the capital. Mayor Marchand mentioned the noteworthy Japanese influence within Quebec City, and expressed his wish to see Japan-Quebec relations further strengthened. By the way, Mayor Marchand was wearing sneakers by Japanese brand ASICS!
