On March 19, at the Cinémathèque Québécoise on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the cooperative agreement between Kyoto Prefecture and the Province of Quebec, the screenings of two Japanese films featuring Kyoto, “Koto (The Old Capital)” and “Rashomon”, were held. Consul General Jun SAITO was in attendance to give formal greetings, and to watch “Rashomon” in a fully occupied theater alongside many Japanese viewers and cinephiles.
