Meeting with Mr. Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM) (March 8, 2022)
On March 8, Consul General Jun SAITO made a courtesy visit to Mr. Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM), to exchange views on several subjects. The CCMM, which includes Montreal and some 65 other municipalities in its jurisdiction covering a population of over 3.5 million (Metropolitan Montreal) and the companies and businesses located therein, sent a delegation to Osaka in 2013 and continues to foster enduring exchanges with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry to this day. Japanophile, Mr. Leblanc has recreated a Japanese garden in his very home, and shared his passion for Japan with much enthusiasm. Consul General SAITO wishes to collaborate closely with Mr. Leblanc to promote economic relations between Japan and Quebec proactively across different fields.
