Meeting with Mr. Éric Martel, Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier (February 7, 2022)

On February 7, Consul General Jun SAITO made a courtesy call to Mr. Éric Martel, Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier, at the company’s Head Office, to exchange views on various topics. In 2020, Bombardier transferred its regional jet to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and it remains a world leader in the manufacture and sale of business aircraft. Mr. Martel, a Japanophile, has traveled to Japan some forty times. The Consulate General of Japan in Montreal wishes to encourage Japan-Quebec collaboration in aeronautics as much as possible.
