The Japanese Film Festival – Montreal – (October 22 and 23, 2021)

On October 22 and 23, the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal offered its free Japanese Film Festival at the Cinémathèque québécoise. Consul General SAITO gave a welcome address on the occasion of the opening ceremony on October 22. This edition was our 37th, and after waiting two years because of the pandemic, moviegoers eagerly attended the event in great numbers, and the showing was at a safe, full capacity.
