Consul General Izawa and Vice-Consul Makizono conducted an official visit to Québec City, making courtesy calls to the Honorable J. Michel Doyon, Lieutenant Governor of Quebec, Mr. François Paradis, President of the Quebec National Assembly, and Ms. Sylvie Barcelo, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie, to exchange views on a broad range of topics with the goal of strengthening relations between Japan and Quebec.
