On March 14, Deputy Consul General Toshiharu Tarui acted as judge in the 23rd Atlantic Canada Japanese Language Speech Contest (online edition), an event co-organized by Saint Mary’s University and the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal. The 30 participants from the Atlantic Provinces were able to showcase their Japanese language skills to the virtual audience.
