Visit to the Japanese Garden of the Montreal Botanical Garden (August 6, 2020)

On this 6th day of August, date when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the Peace bell, a gift from Hiroshima City to the City of Montreal carrying wishes of peace, tolled in the Montreal Botanical Garden to mark 75 years since that fateful moment. Consul General Izawa was on-site on behalf of the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal.
