Meeting with representatives of Otakuthon (July 15, 2020)

On July 15, Consul General Izawa welcomed to his official residence the co-presidents of the Otakuthon Executive Committee, Ms. Amanda Arrizza and Mr. Stefan Latour and their team, to discuss the inclusion of traditional Japanese culture in their virtual event, “Otakuthon 2020 Virtual anime convention experience at home!” on August 15 and 16. Created to give fans access to a convention experience free from COVID-19, this first online edition of Otakuthon can count on the support of the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal.
