Otakuthon (August 16 to 18, 2019)

Otakuthon was held over August 16, 17, and 18. Our Consulate took part in the event with an information booth about our different programs, along with a lecture on Japan-Quebec relations by Consul General Izawa. Participants enjoying Japanese pop culture were also able to experience traditional activities such as ikebana and tea ceremony, and the festival was a resounding success.
