The first Sakura Matsuri Picnic of the Association d’amitié Québec-Japon (May 26, 2019)

On May 26, Consul General Izawa traveled to Québec City to take part in the first Sakura Matsuri Picnic of the Association d’amitié Québec-Japon, which welcomed many participants regardless of the rain. As trees will bloom later than usual this year, it was a time to admire the buds which will blossom into beautiful flowers within the next few weeks. In the meantime, we hope this event will become an annual tradition for the local community.
