Official Visit of Consul General Izawa to New Brunswick (April 15 to 17, 2019)

During his official visit to New Brunswick from April 15 to 17, 2019, in addition to making courtesy calls to Mr. Blaine Higgs, Premier of New Brunswick, Mr. Daniel Guitard, Legislative Assembly Speaker, and Mr. Mike O’Brien, Mayor of Fredericton, Consul General Izawa visited UNB (University of New Brunswick) and the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc. (MCAF) to discuss the development of Japan-Canada relations with their representatives.
Carrying on with the discussion, Mr. Izawa also met with Federal Liberal MP Matt DeCourcey, and members of the local Japanese community and of the JET Alumni Association Quebec/Atlantic (JETAA Q/A).
