“Hatsugama” organized by the Montreal Association of Chado Urasenke Tankokai (February 4, 2018)

On February 4, Mr. Hideaki Kuramitsu, Consul General, participated in the “Hatsugama” event, organized by the Montreal Association of Chado Urasenke Tankokai and held at the Japanese Pavilion of the Montreal Botanical Garden. “Hatsugama” is the first official tea ceremony of the year.
The guests included Mr. René Pronovost, Director of the Montreal Botanical Garden, Mr. Claude Gagné, Honorary President of the Japanese Garden Foundation, and Mr. Luc Vanasse, President of the Japanese Garden Foundation, among others.
