Event endorsement Guidelines for the 90th Anniversary of Canada-Japan Relations

2019/1/23

Following the festivities of 2018 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Japan’s diplomatic mission to Canada, the celebrations continue in 2019 which marks the 90th anniversary of the opening of Canada’s legation in Japan. As stated by the leaders from both countries, Japan and Canada are entering ‘a new era for cooperation’, and we would like to realize this project through cooperation and exchange. For that reason, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan encourages proposals for a wide range of events celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Canada-Japan diplomatic relations.

Organizers of events endorsed by the Ministry will be entitled to use both the official name "90th Anniversary of Canada-Japan Diplomatic Relations" and the official logo in all publicity materials including posters, pamphlets, flyers, websites, signboards, and banners. The events will also be publicized on the 90th Anniversary of Canada-Japan Diplomatic Relations Event Calendar of the Embassy or Consulate General in the appropriate jurisdiction.
